Our Annual Diesel Spectacular with several surprise guest locomotives and an expected four of our own - we will be hauling a good couple of hundred ton specials up our 1 in 68 inclines

We are delighted to announce, courtesy of DATs and subject to availability, that a pair of ex EMT HST power cars will de attending our Diesel Gala and will run as a pair hauling our 3CEP. Numbers of the power cars will not be known until the event. This will not only be a novelty with HST power cars hauling a 3CEP, but also the first time HST power cars have visited the Chinnor branch!

We are delighted that Class 50 50008 'Thunderer' courtesy of Hanson and Hall will be joining our resident 37227, plus our 31163 and our Gronk's 08825 and 08011. Look out for details of other guest locomotives arriving nearer the time and do pop the dates into your diary.

Depending on crewing levels, there may also be Brake van rides with our NSE Class 08 08825/97808 and our Shark brake van between departures and arrivals at Princes Risborough.
